Skirt and Pajamas Set - Apparel Construction

These garments were sewn as part of my coursework for the Apparel Construction (FAME 20273) course at Texas Christian University during my sophomore year. Throughout the course, I was tested on the intricate construction components of garments - covering everything from seams, to linings, and everything in between. In addition to learning about construction techniques and devices, I was able to get hands-on experience by constructing three garments over the semester: pajama shorts, collared pajama top, and a skirt. The opportunity to construct these garments with my own hands allowed me to gain further familiarity with the terms we covered in class, as well as improve my sewing skills.
